I am not who I imagined I’d be in this season of life. I do not have it all together. God is still growing me up, teaching me to find rest, peace, and joy in Him. I am more aware than ever before of how needful I am of Him and that if anything good is seen in my life, it’s because He is there. If there is anything good seen in my family, it’s because of a work He has done. I will tell you He has worked in my life, that He is working now, and that He is faithful. I will join you in going to the Word and we can learn together. I’d love to strengthen you in God and encourage you to lean on Him.
I have transitioned my ministry from full-time mom and part time writer, to being a mom who is available to my adult children as much as they need me and to writing as much as I can. The ministry vision that God has given me continues with a renewed passion to point women to the Word of God and prayer, finding their hope and help in Him alone. As someone who is officially a part of the “older generation”, my desire is to proclaim to the younger generation that God is faithful! (Psalm 145:4) and to “strengthen your hand in God” (1 Samuel 23:16) by directing your attention away from me and onto Jesus, the gospel, and God’s amazing, amazing grace. For there is where your answers, strength, and hope lie – no matter what season you are in!
I love coming alongside those who are coming behind me, to help them find strength in God (1 Samuel 23:16), to proclaim God’s faithfulness (Psalms 89:1), to encourage one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11), to help each other persevere, one day at a time, and find biblical joy (Hebrews 12:2), and to learn from each other (1 Corinthians 11:1)!
Meet My Family
Brianna (a stay at home mom) is our first born! She and her husband, Dani (an engineer), had their first child, Selah Grace, in June 2023! They live about 20 minutes from us! We are so thankful they live close enough for us to see them often!
Caleb (an electrician) is our second born. He, his sweet wife Nicole (a nurse), and their precious dog (my grand dog!) Milo live about 5 minutes from us! They are a such a gift and blessing to us!
Brian and I have been married for 35 years. He brings me coffee in bed every morning! He is my biggest support system and cheerleader and works to hard love me well, even after 35 years. He is a pastor and the property manager of a college campus.
Being a wife to Brian, a mom to my children and their spouses, and being a grandmother, is my greatest privilege and calling. My prayer is that I will glorify God as I learn to live the gospel and serve my family well.
